ROLE

UX

I gathered qualitative insights from clients to understand what they would realistically expect from a mobile version of the ATS, focusing on moments where desktop access isn’t possible. These insights made it clear that users didn’t want a full replication of the system, but a focused, lightweight experience.

Based on this, I defined a reduced version of the ATS centered on core needs such as tracking applicant status, accessing key reports, and using the dashboard. The primary goal was to enable users to manage candidates on the go—even without an internet connection—so they could stay productive during downtime, whether stuck in traffic, traveling, or commuting.

UI

I designed both the wireframes and high-fidelity screens for the first version of the mobile app, shaping the initial structure, flows, and visual language. This early phase focused on validating core use cases and ensuring the experience stayed lightweight and intuitive. As the product evolved, my focus shifted back to the desktop application, where I continued refining the core ATS experience and aligning it with broader product goals and user needs.

This project focused on designing a mobile companion app for softgarden’s ATS, extending the desktop experience into moments where users don’t have access to a computer. Through client interviews, I identified the need for a lightweight solution rather than a full system replica.

Based on these insights, I defined a reduced feature set focused on essentials such as applicant status tracking, key reports, and the dashboard. The goal was to enable users to manage candidates anywhere—even offline—during commutes or travel. I designed the wireframes and high-fidelity screens for the first version of the app before shifting my focus back to refining the core desktop ATS.
